2010 GRAMMY nominee Dan Schatz joins with acclaimed vocalist Mara Levine for an evening of finely crafted traditional and contemporary folk music. An accomplished singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Dan Schatz has three solo albums to his credit, including his recent CD and book, The Song and the SighHe is best known as the producer of the internationally acclaimed Singing Through the Hard Times - a Tribute to Utah Phillips, which featured Dan along with Emmylou Harris, Pete Seeger, Jean Ritchie and many others.

Nominated by Ron Olesko in 2009 for the Suzi Wollenberg Folk DJ Showcase, her debut CD, Mara's Gems, ranked #52 on the Folk DJ chart that year. Since then, Mara has had two #1 songs on the monthly chart -- her version of Bob Franke's 'Straw Against the Chill,' with Joe Jencks, and her arrangement of Paul Simon's 'Leaves That Are Green,' with Gathering Time.
