The 33rd Annual Woodstock Folk Festival will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from Noon-6 p.m., on Woodstock Square. The Festival will present its Lifetime Achievement Award to Corky Siegel. Corky is known internationally as one of the world's great blues harmonica players, and is a celebrated composer, blues pianist, singer, songwriter, band leader, and author. Spook Handy, who performed with Pete Seeger many times and has traveled the world keeping Pete's songs and tradition alive, will open the Festival and lead the All-Sing Finale. Other Main Stage artists include Annie and the Hedonists (Annie Rosen, Jonny Rosen, Peter Davis, and Don Young); Gathering Time (Hillary Foxsong, Gerry McKeveny, and Stuart Markus) with guest Mara Levine; The Donna Herula, Jon Spiegel, & Chris Walz Trio; Crys Matthews; Ordinary Elephant (Crystal and Pete Damore); and Garnet Rogers. Chuck VanderVennet and Rich Warren co-host the Festival’s Main Stage. There will also be a Children’s Area, Open Mic Stage, and Workshop. The Festival is made possible in part by our Radio Partners WDCB/90.9FM, WFMT/98.7FM, and WNUR/893FM, the City of Woodstock, and Real Woodstock.

Mara Levine/Terry Kitchen/Terry Rivel and open chair!
PASA House concert series
TBD
Venue Info

PASA annual summer party followed by a 7:30PM house concert which features a round robin format. Along with the three headliners we have something called the "open chair." This feature guarantees a good turnout as about half the folks are songwriters. These open chair performers are often previous headliners so their integration into the circle is not normally a problem. There are 4 rounds, then intermission and then 3 more rounds. So you should prepare 7original songs of yours in addition to PASA songs Mara will be performing. All songs must be original and must be written by a PASA member.  (Another reason you want to be a PASA member to play the show). Show is over between 10:30 and 11PM.
